Orlando Lluques ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Lluques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cătălin Gârniceanu. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Eagle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sahit Bajrami to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Bertran.

The supporters of Eagle FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Cresenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
