Spectators: 7400 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John McLae took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Albinas Dumskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANTERANOS DMS's supporters rose to their feet, but Albinas Dumskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Saunders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Geronimo Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Saunders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Geronimo Izotz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tom Saunders. After 10 minutes of play, CANTERANOS DMS's Zadornin Alberdi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Saunders was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute of the match Zadornin Alberdi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Saunders skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Leonides Ocariz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankie Conlon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zadornin Alberdi in the 18th minute of play forced Edinburgh City's goalkeeper Tom Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Geronimo Izotz made a precise shot to the right of Tom Saunders. Edinburgh City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Izotz in the 26th minute of play forced Edinburgh City's goalkeeper Tom Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Edinburgh City's goal looked a bit too open when Zadornin Alberdi came free, but Tom Saunders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albinas Dumskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Saunders came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by CANTERANOS DMS's Pål Uggstedt. But to his dismay, Pål Uggstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Geronimo Izotz sped through Edinburgh City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tom Saunders. Zadornin Alberdi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jason Geddes's late challenge caught a CANTERANOS DMS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Geddes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Edinburgh City's Jason Geddes got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Edinburgh City's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Izotz came free, but Tom Saunders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Izotz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Izotz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Tom Saunders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tom Saunders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albinas Dumskis in the 61st minute. Albinas Dumskis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Leonides Ocariz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John McLae in the 64th minute of the match. Tom Saunders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zadornin Alberdi in the 67th minute of play. Tom Saunders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zadornin Alberdi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Zadornin Alberdi made a precise shot to the right of Tom Saunders. Edinburgh City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. CANTERANOS DMS's Zadornin Alberdi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CANTERANOS DMS played a much better game than Edinburgh City and deserved their victory. The Edinburgh City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
