Shi Bang Xiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno in the 9th minute of play. The audience cheered loudly when Orlando Lluques's long shot in the 13th minute became 2-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Shi Bang Xiang. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. André Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Primitivo Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Eriksson came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Eriksson in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Eriksson in the 36th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Henning Eriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lázaro Kismi hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Amador Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, FC Jamala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Arenberg to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Bertran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Shi Bang Xiang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Nuno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Arenberg in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match FC Jamala got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henning Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to FC Jamala getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Afşar Aydınoğlu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Bertran in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shi Bang Xiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Orlando Lluques went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Jamala's Loco Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Henning Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Jamala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Eriksson couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Jamala's goalkeeper Shi Bang Xiang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of FC Jamala booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Lluques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Orlando Lluques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Fernanco was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Eddie Arenberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eddie Arenberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. If Amador Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Jamala's Henning Eriksson in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Martin in the 88th minute. Renátó Csernyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Primitivo Fernanco made a huge save. FC Jamala were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henning Eriksson took the corner. The corner led FC Jamala's Henning Eriksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Primitivo Fernanco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Maximo Bordat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
