The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Eguerdi made a kick off. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexsandro Tróia's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alexsandro Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Lidman to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Worst Team Ever eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
