The Grimório fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Pawlik should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Bartoli Duyos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grimório's Kajar Püss quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. José Maria França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alo Ülipikk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eckart Obels's late challenge caught a Grimório's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grimório's Alo Ülipikk managed to work through Birra Cultura F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alo Ülipikk dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Tõnis Kaldvee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tõnis Kaldvee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but José Maria França made a huge save. Waldemar Pawlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Penha in the 45th minute of the match.
