Borys Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Christer Ribe's late challenge caught a White Star Troopers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Ribe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Ribe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Şelaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Borys Witek made a huge save. With his leg Borys Witek managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when White Star Troopers's Codrin Şelaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Borys Witek made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Bartosz Bentkowski sent off a good shot on target. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Labus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuele Mussi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Borys Witek was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Wilfredo León capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilfredo León really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codrin Şelaru in the 24th minute. Szymon Labus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Borys Witek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Brufoss IL's Kent Remme in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye White Star Troopers's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brufoss IL's Kent Remme fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Kent Remme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Labus in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbigniew Laba saved White Star Troopers from getting behind. When Codrin Şelaru came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the White Star Troopers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Şelaru couldn't finish the play. Borys Witek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Şelaru in the 42nd minute of the match. White Star Troopers's Codrin Şelaru got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Şelaru made a kick off. Zbigniew Laba made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Emanuel Markham sent off a good shot on target. When Rune Saltnes fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Rune Saltnes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Saltnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo León received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kevin Strømsnes replaced Christer Hustad. When White Star Troopers's Wilfredo León in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brufoss IL's goalie prevented a goal. White Star Troopers were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Brufoss IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szymon Labus took the corner. White Star Troopers's Szymon Labus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Witek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zbigniew Laba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Markham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 70 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Şelaru came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo León in the 76th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Codrin Şelaru drilling the ball in to score 4-1 behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper. In the 86th minute, one of Brufoss IL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brufoss IL. In the 89th minute of the match White Star Troopers got a corner. Brufoss IL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Labus ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Szymon Labus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Borys Witek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Şelaru in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
