Borys Witek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slawomir Polkoski went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th minute, Kent Remme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 22ndth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlethico Talleres's Bernardo Tarulli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brufoss IL's Kent Remme got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slawomir Polkoski struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Borys Witek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlethico Talleres. In the 42nd minute, Kent Remme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Tarulli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 47th match minute, Club Atlethico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Min to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Brufoss IL were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ranko Kvarantan was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Estavan came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Tarulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Østbye in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlethico Talleres's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kai Østbye was slow to take the kick. During this time Brufoss IL's players had a chance to rest. In the 58th minute, Romulo Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Polkoski in the 59th minute of play. Bernardo Tarulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Filomeno Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Pasqual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Witek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Are Høiby replaced Jan-Kenneth Heistad. Brufoss IL made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Markham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Tarulli was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Filomeno Pasqual made a precise shot to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. The Club Atlethico Talleres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brufoss IL's performance. The match ended with a win for Brufoss IL.
