Bartosz Bentkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Klompe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo León in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Bartosz Bentkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Codrin Şelaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Codrin Şelaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, White Star Troopers's Codrin Şelaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Klompe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Zaagman didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that White Star Troopers were the better team. White Star Troopers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
