Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 2nd minute of play. Angelo Urtsua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Roldanillo went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 6th minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Silvino in the 12th minute of play. Angelo Urtsua came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Pincha FC's Marcial Roldanillo. But to his dismay, Marcial Roldanillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Agustin Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pincha FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Pincha FC's Marcial Roldanillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 minutes, Marcial Roldanillo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Quentin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Placido Bermudo. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Silvino in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Deunoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Deunoro came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agustin Ilixo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeritos del Baile's protests and gave Agustin Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Agustin Ilixo hit a great ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 60th minute. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. Agustin Silvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Urtsua having to make a save. Angelo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 67th minute. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Silvino in the 68th minute of play. Pincha FC made a substitution. Darren McDonald replaced Everardo Garaile. After taking down the ball on Pincha FC's corner Marcial Roldanillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Urtsua quite easily take care of the ball. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Victorio Hondo. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caballeritos del Baile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Mendebal was slow to take the kick. During this time Pincha FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pincha FC's corner Rodrigo Mendebal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Urtsua quite easily take care of the ball. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Ur. Marcial Roldanillo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 87thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Angelo Urtsua would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Marcial Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua got control of the ball when Agustin Silvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pincha FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
