The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baykan Erincer was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. S A R A Y's Baykan Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match, Mathias de Ruijter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baykan Erincer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fu Peng Feng hit a great ball. G . S A R A Y's Baykan Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 34th minute of play. If Perivaldo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, G . S A R A Y's Temel Balkan got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montrel Perpiñán to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ozan Tekindağ came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Mauro Camoranesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 45 minutes on the clock, Demiralp Karadağ commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for G . S A R A Y! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Perivaldo Eger made the kick off in the second half. Baykan Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montrel Perpiñán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the De Pelgrims defense, Kamil Babacan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Zoetmulder. The De Pelgrims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Zoetmulder should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 86th minute of play forced G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baykan Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huub Gerrits in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Perivaldo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G . S A R A Y's Baykan Erincer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mathias de Ruijter came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias de Ruijter couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, G . S A R A Y's Arif Erel got a free kick in the 95th minute. De Pelgrims's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
