But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Zonta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beremundo Verdes in the 4th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beremundo Verdes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aznaro Caraveo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Nelson de Lima managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Baltazar Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Real Cruzeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Zonta couldn't finish the play. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnau Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Batista in the 26th minute of play forced Bomseral FC's goalkeeper Aznaro Caraveo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Baltazar Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 45th minute, Luís Guilherme Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Beremundo Verdes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bomseral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beremundo Verdes couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Baltazar Zonta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aznaro Caraveo. Baltazar Zonta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Aznaro Caraveo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rubinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beremundo Verdes in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnau Gregorio in the 59th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aznaro Caraveo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Baltazar Zonta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aznaro Caraveo, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle sounded Real Cruzeiro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bomseral FC.
