Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vivaldo Carmona kicked off to start the match. Intxixu Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Carmona in the 4th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Pernambucano came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel de Lara got free with Rubinho de Amaral in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Carmona in the 29th minute of play. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Real Cruzeiro FC from getting a goal against them. Rubinho de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Germano Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral got control of the ball when Germano Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ronaldinho Romero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Cruzeiro FC's Paulo Tinoco got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rubinho de Amaral came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Germano Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Germano Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel de Lara. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anaia Barba to make the kick off. The supporters of Real Cruzeiro FC booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Intxixu Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Abel de Lara notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral. Rubinho de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rubinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Romero came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 67 in the game by Vivaldo Carmona from a close distance when the talented Intxixu Porregimon managed to make a qualified save. Mexilhão F. C.'s players were relieved. Vivaldo Carmona's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Intxixu Porregimon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 77 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anaia Barba came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Carmona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Intxixu Porregimon made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Zonta. When the referee ended the match the Mexilhão F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
