After having played for 3 minutes, Fu Peng Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fu Peng Feng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogumil Dombrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Mike Zoetmulder made a huge save. After 9 minutes De Pelgrims's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefan Swoboda who took care of the corner kick. UNITED GWAREK's Stefan Swoboda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mike Zoetmulder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Borys Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With 16 minutes on the clock, Gilbert Poremba commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in UNITED GWAREK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute, Perivaldo Eger made a precise shot to the right of Borys Lewkowicz. UNITED GWAREK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, UNITED GWAREK's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Borys Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franciszek Rukszcz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute De Pelgrims were awarded a corner. Fu Peng Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. De Pelgrims's Fu Peng Feng was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Lewkowicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 34th minute of play. Borys Lewkowicz came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Mathias de Ruijter. But to his dismay, Mathias de Ruijter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 41st minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Lewkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Huub Gerrits made a precise shot to the right of Borys Lewkowicz. UNITED GWAREK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mathias de Ruijter kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogumil Dombrowski to make the kick off. When Wawrzyniec Rostow fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNITED GWAREK's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Rostow a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when UNITED GWAREK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Rostow didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Furtok during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save UNITED GWAREK from getting a goal against them. Perivaldo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Borys Lewkowicz made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in UNITED GWAREK's zone, Perivaldo Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Lewkowicz came out of the goal and Perivaldo Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borys Lewkowicz stood somewhat misplaced when Perivaldo Eger came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Lucjan Walczyk hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Borys Lewkowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 78th minute. With a little luck, UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz got control of the ball when Huub Gerrits tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Stefan Swoboda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th minute, Aleksander Furtok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Lewkowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huub Gerrits in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Eger notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz. Borys Lewkowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. De Pelgrims played a much better game than UNITED GWAREK and deserved their victory. The UNITED GWAREK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
