Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Hatayspor's Nafiz Revis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Akif Civanmert made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alp Torehan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Revis in the 8th minute of play forced Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Guaberto Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Acaralp in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nafiz Revis got free with Guaberto Micael in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Guaberto Micael managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Hatayspor's Nafiz Revis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Club de la Serpiente's Guaberto Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Torehan in the 15th minute of play. Ismael Gutxi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dario Guillem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Micael having to make a save. Roy De Witte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Taşan having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goal looked a bit too open when Nafiz Revis came free, but Guaberto Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Anastasio Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy De Witte to strike the kick off in the second half.
