In the 7th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Guaberto Micael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Villa. With a little luck, Club de la Serpiente's Guaberto Micael got control of the ball when Sebastián Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Club de la Serpiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Mikeldi took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy De Witte during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club de la Serpiente's Roy De Witte got a free kick in the 17th minute. Guaberto Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Villa in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club de la Serpiente's zone, Teofilo Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Micael came out of the goal and Teofilo Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Sandalio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guaberto Micael came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Sandalio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club de la Serpiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Lekubegi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Villegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Mikeldi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sebastián Villa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Guaberto Micael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavaliers FC. A collision led to Club de la Serpiente getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. José Carlos Neiva hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Guaberto Micael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blas Pabla hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Sebastián Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Micael was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Guaberto Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Villa in the 65th minute of play. Sebastián Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Micael having to interfere. Daniel Lekubegi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. José Carlos Neiva got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Guaberto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastián Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guaberto Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Micael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Desiderio Rami replaced Ambrosio Iratxo. A collision led to Club de la Serpiente getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Anastasio Pacho hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Florentino Dalmu made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Micael. Club de la Serpiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0.
