Roy De Witte struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Natalio Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club de la Serpiente. Guaberto Micael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Baumer in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Club de la Serpiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Pacho to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy De Witte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saturnino Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy De Witte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Guaberto Micael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Baumer. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when Club de la Serpiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Micael stood somewhat misplaced when Angelo Iturri came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 91 minute. After a rather tough play, Club de la Serpiente's Anastasio Pacho got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Angelo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierra del Fuego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tierra del Fuego FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
