In the 3rd minute Celedonio Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tierra del Fuego FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ambrosio Playo in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Jago. After 8th play minutes Ismael Baumer shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Washington Santos and just under the crossbar into goal. 13 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Washington Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Baumer. If Ismael Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ismael Baumer might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Washington Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Baumer ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Jakes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Heli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tierra del Fuego FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Onur Ali Cespan was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. BELGRANO's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to C. A. BELGRANO getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Onur Ali Cespan hit a great ball. Tierra del Fuego FC's Ambrosio Playo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C. A. BELGRANO. 33 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Espiridion came free, but Washington Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. BELGRANO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ambrosio Playo was slow to take the kick. During this time Tierra del Fuego FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Celedonio Espiridion drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper. In the 40th minute Jaime Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, one of C. A. BELGRANO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ambrosio Playo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, C. A. BELGRANO's Washington Santos got control of the ball when Saturnino Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Leonel Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Baumer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Washington Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Espiridion in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Ismael Baumer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Tierra del Fuego FC made a substitution. Angelo Iturri replaced Ismael Baumer. Tierra del Fuego FC's Conrado Florian was substituted for Enrique Urtats. Tierra del Fuego FC made a substitution. Desiderio Jaen replaced Mauro Cortez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Jakes in the 72nd minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Saturnino Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Santos. C. A. BELGRANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of C. A. BELGRANO booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Alfonso. Angelo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Washington Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tierra del Fuego FC's Saturnino Batista managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edelmiro Jago in the 87 minute of the game. Angelo Iturri took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Santos. Washington Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Washington Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Iturri in the 92nd minute of the match.
