When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Zlatan Messi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgar Ström to make any attempt to save it. Kerkyra FC's Radu Corocăescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Nyman in the 13th minute of play. Edgar Ström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Messi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koulis Kouloucheris. In the 19th minute Bengt-Arne Wester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Corocăescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Kerkyra FC's corner Erli Haaland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgar Ström quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Grigoris Kalabosis hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Kerkyra FC got a corner. Hisingen IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erli Haaland ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Thanos Papagiannopoulos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatan Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erli Haaland in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 56th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koulis Kouloucheris in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Messi in the 60th minute of play. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Messi in the 63rd minute of the match. Edgar Ström came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi. But to his dismay, Zlatan Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Nyman in the 74th minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Radu Corocăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Zlatan Messi made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Ström. Hisingen IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koulis Kouloucheris in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Ludwig Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Hisingen IK's Bernt Vennerkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Corocăescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kerkyra FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hisingen IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
