Toa Toa 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pepsi the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kanu Kanu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Túlio Silva saved Toa Toa 4EVER from getting behind. Túlio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kanu Kanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva got control of the ball when Hubert Ekerot tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho do Vale to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Yuan Kuan in the 24th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Diego Barral hit a great ball. Paul Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simões in the 27th minute of play. Archie Culver's late challenge caught a Toa Toa 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archie Culver helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Pepsi getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Archie Culver hit a great ball. Paul Holmstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Lv Yuan Kuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Burçak in the 39th minute of play. Paul Holmstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Yahya Burçak in the 43rd minute of the match. FC Pepsi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars Hedlund in the 45th minute. Lars Hedlund made a great header on FC Pepsi's corner, it was just that Toa Toa 4EVER's Túlio Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. Ahmet Yahya Burçak's late challenge caught a FC Pepsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Yahya Burçak helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Róbson Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Yahya Burçak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Paul Holmstedt made a huge save. When Hubert Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Pepsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Ekerot couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Simões got free with Paul Holmstedt in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Pepsi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Bartlett was slow to take the kick. During this time Toa Toa 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Culver in the 67th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Simões came free, but Paul Holmstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Elmar van der Woude hit a great ball. FC Pepsi's Kurt Lundin was substituted for Lv Yuan Kuan. After 71 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Elmar van der Woude. Túlio Silva came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pepsi's Joshua Sammut Castelletti. But to his dismay, Joshua Sammut Castelletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paul Holmstedt made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Róbson Simões sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kanu Kanu in the 83rd minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Holmstedt made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ahmet Yahya Burçak sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute of the match, Róbson Simões tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paul Holmstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simões in the 90th minute of play. Túlio Silva came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pepsi's Kanu Kanu. But to his dismay, Kanu Kanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Pepsi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Toa Toa 4EVER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
