A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Leonel Osmundo with Ramiro Barros as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 12th minute Severo Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Islas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Polonia Basildon's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Cordairo came free, but Hayden Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Polonia Basildon's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Montemayor came free, but Hayden Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polonia Basildon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonel Osmundo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Luís Islas was a little too slow when Severo Laurentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Luís Islas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayden Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Cordairo in the 40th minute of play. Luckas Hombroeckx hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Felix Oto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Scifo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Josue Montemayor got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayden Baker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Barros in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Candido Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Laurentzi in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Islas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hayden Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Scifo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Polonia Basildon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Polonia Basildon's Felix Oto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fidel Unax, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Luís Islas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, J.C. Smith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia Basildon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las 3R Club De Fútbol the free kick.
