With an all-out effort, Brașov HooliganS's Feliciano Ayala threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Șerban Gherasim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Canor in the 21st minute of play. Feliciano Ayala made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Horia Teaşcă sent off a good shot on target. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelian Papaiani to make the kick off. In the 74th minute Albino Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eitel Patrzek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Canor in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eitel Patrzek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eitel Patrzek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio James in the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek got control of the ball when Bruno Cambiasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute Santos de Buenos Aires FC were awarded a corner. Amado Corderall went to the cornerflag to take it. If Albino Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes in the game, Bruno Cambiasso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eitel Patrzek having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Albino Canor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brașov HooliganS's Eitel Patrzek. Eitel Patrzek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santos de Buenos Aires FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
