In the 2nd minute Silvinho de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vila Aurora FC's Flavinho Dionísio got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Dionísio in the 8th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Leal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho de Senna in the 13th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Breno Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Vila Aurora FC's Adilson Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Davi Valadares came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Aurora FC's Silvinho de Senna. But to his dismay, Silvinho de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvinho de Senna in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Inter de Melão were furious when Klaus Meine was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 31st minute, Klaus Meine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Vila Aurora FC's Breno Borges broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 34th minute, Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chicão Leal. Chicão Leal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 40th minute, Adilson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Dionísio in the 46th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Delfim Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Inter de Melão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Paraense couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Paraense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Silvinho de Senna from a close distance when the talented Davi Valadares managed to make a qualified save. Inter de Melão's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Vila Aurora FC's Remigio Euloxu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Vila Aurora FC's Naldo Antunes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares got control of the ball when Silvinho de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Vila Aurora FC's Davi Valadares threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adilson Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes into the match, Vila Aurora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Valladares came free, but Chicão Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Inter de Melão defense, Silvinho de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Valadares. The Inter de Melão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Valadares should have stopped the shot. Durvalino Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Davi Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho de Senna in the 87th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Naldo Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9.
