After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ömür Himmet managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Last Airbender's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömür Himmet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Orzaize in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şeray Rauf saved The Last Airbender from getting behind. Chicão Leal stood somewhat misplaced when Cemal Özgun came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Şeray Rauf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Vila Aurora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cemal Özgun came free, but Chicão Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vila Aurora FC's Chicão Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Vila Aurora FC from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Cemal Özgun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chicão Leal, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Vila Aurora FC booed when The Last Airbender was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Yetişen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Chicão Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Özgun in the 60th minute of play. Şeray Rauf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Orzaize in the 86th minute of the match. Şeray Rauf stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Orzaize came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Chicão Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömür Himmet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's Hakkı Kenan Ayçetin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Şeray Rauf acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Breno Borges. Vila Aurora FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
