Fabian Sienkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Nilmar Eger scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Iurisch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inter de Munique's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Aleksander Winograd scored to the left of an out of position Fabrício Simões, making the score, 2-2.

Dariusz Praski struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fabrício Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Bialystok. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Michael Iurisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Eger in the 64th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Damião came free, but Michael Iurisch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Inter de Munique fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Inter de Munique's Nilmar Eger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Jagiellonia Bialystok supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inter de Munique's performance.
