In the 16thth minute of the game Andoni Donadoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DFP's Carl Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, DFP's Stefano Lilipaly ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrício Simões. Charlie Bjurström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carl Carlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Damião in the 86th minute. Fabrício Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Lilipaly in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of DFP booed when Inter de Munique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, Inter de Munique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Neto to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
