The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Rafe in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Dante Rafe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hannes Dresdner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 minutes of play, Black Dragons's I Putu í Lon Jacobsen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akşemseddin Taran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Rafe in the 15th minute of the match. The corner led Metapalo FC's Humberto Rodrigues to fire away a dangerous shot which Hannes Dresdner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Tytus Jaszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Jaszcz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Jaszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes Black Dragons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Humberto Rodrigues who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Metapalo FC's corner Humberto Rodrigues fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hannes Dresdner quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Akşemseddin Taran got control of the ball when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akşemseddin Taran made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Dresdner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannes Dresdner was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tytus Jaszcz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Dante Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Dresdner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Dresdner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Rafe went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Hannes Dresdner made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Dante Rafe sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Dante Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Rafe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Toto Fabri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Dresdner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Jaszcz in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Broman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raffaelo Anderegg fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 80th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Akşemseddin Taran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raffaelo Anderegg in the 80th minute of play. Hannes Dresdner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Rafe went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Pascual Rambert might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Dresdner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Rambert ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Jaszcz came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Metapalo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
