Cezary Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Dorigatti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Bouzon. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Heren Istarion! 18 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Dorigatti came free, but David Bouzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Dorigatti took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Bouzon. David Bouzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. David Bouzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, The Heren Istarion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Askberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Preetamjot Aşuräliyev hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Armando Dorigatti sped through The Heren Istarion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Bouzon. After 35 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Alex Göransson. Cezary Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, MKS Mazur Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. Maria Stefan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Stefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute Christopher Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Sitko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Öberg to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Zawacki in the 55th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper David Bouzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Askberg made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MKS Mazur Ełk's Jamal Musiala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Zawacki in the 69th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper David Bouzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Heren Istarion's Sebastian Lilja was substituted for Christopher Öberg. MKS Mazur Ełk's Wincenty Mocko was substituted for Wieslaw Zawacki. The Heren Istarion's Alto Jering quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The MKS Mazur Ełk support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
