Leonardo Tancredo came out of the goal and Prospero Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Cristian Ronaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Hibai made a kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Konurbano Atletico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Martino was slow to take the kick. During this time Nueva Lepra FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Martino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teobaldo Demario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonardo Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Fernan Machado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Teobaldo Demario successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ladislao Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Nueva Lepra FC's Teobaldo Demario threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ladislao Hibai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teobaldo Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Arce in the 91st minute. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
