The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Justino Crispo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mieszko Wielgopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Justino Crispo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Mieszko Wielgopolski made a huge save. In the 11th minute Tolek Juroszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Silvio Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tolek Juroszek came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Wieliczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Juroszek couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, FC Wieliczka's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Orlandus came free, but Mieszko Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Filipowski in the 45th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Paolo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Ubarna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 62 minutes, Krzysztof Filipowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wieliczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Filipowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mieszko Wielgopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Muc, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wawrzyniec Komanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados got a freekick which was hit by Leo Orlandus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Juroszek got free with Paolo Ubarna in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 79 minutes, Krzysztof Filipowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wieliczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Filipowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Wieliczka's Mieszko Wielgopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Crispo in the 81st minute of play. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, FC Wieliczka's Tolek Juroszek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paolo Ubarna. When the final whistle sounded FC Wieliczka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A Vientos Huracanados.
