FC Lugano's La Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 7th minute of play. Igor Linares's late challenge caught a ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Linares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Igor Linares got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Dos Reis in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Para saved FC Lugano from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Saunders got free with Edmund Dulemba in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Dos Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zé Dos Reis scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of La Para, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmund Dulemba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Saunders in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Fred Lara lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Edmund Dulemba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Saunders got free with Edmund Dulemba in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Gino Antunes made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lugano's La Para tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Lugano's La Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Antunes in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Zhao Le Sen. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. La Para took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Dos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Zé Dos Reis made a precise shot to the right of La Para. FC Lugano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Dos Reis could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which La Para however easily saved by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣'s Zé Dos Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that La Para narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Dos Reis in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Para saved FC Lugano from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dulemba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 minutes ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhao Le Sen who took care of the corner kick. FC Lugano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Zé Dos Reis scored to the left of an out of position La Para, making the score, 1-5. ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣'s Edmund Dulemba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Precioso in the 85th minute of play. Zé Dos Reis struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. La Para didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣. La Para made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 89th minute. La Para took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Wielgopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Wielgopolski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. La Para came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernard Wielgopolski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ☢℗a®Ⅰs ＄₳i₦t-₲€®₥₳i₦☣ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
