When Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalie prevented a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Emanuel Ogășanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Crescencio. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Ogășanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdinand Mendy who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ogășanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Crescencio was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Godfredo Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Önder Cebi in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Önder Cebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Önder Cebi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Crescencio was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Önder Cebi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Godfredo Crescencio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ogășanu in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Crescencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Bernardino Baumar got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Sydney FC were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Mendy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalie and right to Angelo Milanese. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emanuel Ogășanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Crescencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdinand Mendy who took care of the corner kick. Sydney FC's Ferdinand Mendy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Godfredo Crescencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guy Rothe hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Gerardo Balendin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Titz skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Ogășanu scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 44th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Godfredo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Rothe hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Baumar to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Godfredo Crescencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ogășanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Cebi in the 54th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Godfredo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Ogășanu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Crescencio saved Acercate Y Patea de Lejos from getting behind. Godfredo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Önder Cebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Amado Laurgain put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Amado Laurgain hit a great ball. Guy Rothe had several of the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Godfredo Crescencio as he didn't even see the shot coming. 66 minutes into the game, Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Crescencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 72 minutes of play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Bernardino Baumar made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Titz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Ogășanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Godfredo Crescencio however easily saved by the left post. When Emanuel Ogășanu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sydney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Ogășanu couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Önder Cebi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godfredo Crescencio. The goal made the score 1-6. 83 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Godfredo Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Crescencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 84th minute. If Emanuel Ogășanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Titz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Bernardino Baumar. But to his dismay, Bernardino Baumar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. In the 91st minute, Önder Cebi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Crescencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. In the 95th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Rothe to maneuver through the defense. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sydney FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sydney FC.
