The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 11th minute of the match. Alexis Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikolaj Jerzyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexis Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. Edoardo Mauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 15th minute of play forced Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Mauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Kajetan Kochniarczyk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edoardo Mauro. Kajetan Kochniarczyk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Sánchez in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Mattei in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Newcastle United were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo Zonta went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Adam Pacholewski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edoardo Mauro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Adam Pacholewski sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Vollmar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Vollmar's late challenge caught a Villa di Molvena FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Vollmar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Thomas Vollmar hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Alexis Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 55th minute of play. Alexis Sánchez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Mikolaj Jerzyk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Fabiano Mattei came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Villa di Molvena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Mattei couldn't finish the play. Newcastle United made a substitution. Benedykt Gdaniec replaced Tadeusz Pstrongowski. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Mattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Villa di Molvena FC's Fabiano Mattei got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Villa di Molvena FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Mattei. When Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Mattei, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
