The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emílio Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Czaplicki having to interfere. Sílvio Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolfos Galdamez, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Emílio Magalhães took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobald Czaplicki. Teobald Czaplicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sílvio Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chepe Velis in the 35th minute of play. Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Sílvio Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jobo Amondo in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Narciso Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overal Peru the free kick. Narciso Toscano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Emílio Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobald Czaplicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Ezequiel Cuervo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sílvio Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Riva’s Jaguar On The Back supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Riva’s Jaguar On The Back would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
