The Overal Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolfos Galdamez in the 35th minute of play. Pankracy Malicki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobald Czaplicki having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Pankracy Malicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teobald Czaplicki, 2-1. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Cuervo in the 43rd minute of play. If Pankracy Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Ezequiel Cuervo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newcastle United's Zé Paulo Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolfos Galdamez made a kick off. Pankracy Malicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Czaplicki having to interfere. If Ezequiel Cuervo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Teobald Czaplicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Malicki in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobald Czaplicki saved Overal Peru from getting behind. Endura Sufiria made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Newcastle United's Kajetan Kochniarczyk. Adam Pacholewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newcastle United's attentive Thomas Vollmar managed to snatch the ball when Azibar Romerano made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Edgar Lampa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Gatot Fierro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dolfos Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newcastle United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Overal Peru for a fine match.
