Evaristo Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harry Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aro FC's goalkeeper Harry Higuita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Atso Joenväärä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lupere FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Aro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atso Joenväärä took the corner. Atso Joenväärä made a great header on Lupere FC - DMZ's corner, it was just that Aro FC's Harry Higuita managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ola Toivonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sermet Tacal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Stuart Legzdins came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Lupere FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Legzdins couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stuart Legzdins to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sermet Tacal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Higuita was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Stuart Legzdins came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lupere FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Legzdins couldn't finish the play. Harry Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aro FC's zone, Sermet Tacal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Higuita came out of the goal and Sermet Tacal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sermet Tacal in the 92nd minute of play forced Aro FC's goalkeeper Harry Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Higuita made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sermet Tacal sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ričards Lakstenis during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Ričards Lakstenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Errikos Tsagaris sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lupere FC - DMZ's Evaristo Neves didn't even have to move. Aro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lupere FC - DMZ for a fine match.
