Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan de Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 5th minute, but Renan de Lima got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Thor F.C. hanging dry this time. Renan de Lima came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan. But to his dismay, Cecilio Tristan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute Cecilio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan de Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cecilio Tristan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Cecilio Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Renan de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan de Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Cecilio Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan de Lima. Thor F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Emanuel Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Thor F.C. defense, Cecilio Tristan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan de Lima. The Thor F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan de Lima should have stopped the shot. If Cecilio Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 58 minutes, Cecilio Tristan made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Thor F.C.'s Renan de Lima tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan de Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the game, Cecilio Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Renan de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Vânderson Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Renan de Lima. Thor F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Tristan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan de Lima saved Thor F.C. from getting behind. Abuba Akotonon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Elivareo in the 78th minute. A well done corner resulted in Lance Veloz drilling the ball in to score 13-0 behind Thor F.C.'s goalkeeper. 82 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Fabian Otoniel replaced Cecilio Tristan. Fabian Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renan de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Otoniel's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ramón Garay was substituted for Vânderson Barbosa. Renan de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Otoniel in the 95th minute of the match.
