Semail Kılıçer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Lax, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Wu Hong Zheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semail Kılıçer having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kenny N'Diaye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Odin Saue. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Odin Saue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevahir Boz in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Hong Zheng came free, but Semail Kılıçer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wu Hong Zheng came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ballkam Sportsklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wu Hong Zheng couldn't finish the play. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Odin Saue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevahir Boz in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Hong Zheng came free, but Semail Kılıçer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Ballkam Sportsklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wu Hong Zheng to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny N'Diaye in the 21st minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Odin Saue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Abubakar in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Semail Kılıçer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Behram didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Vincent Abubakar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semail Kılıçer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 44 minutes, Wu Hong Zheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballkam Sportsklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wu Hong Zheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Elvio Victoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Semail Kılıçer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballkam Sportsklubb reached it. Semail Kılıçer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Abubakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Nikki Kassa made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Ali Süvari. After having played for 51 minutes, Elvio Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballkam Sportsklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Victoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elvio Victoro, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Semail Kılıçer made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nikki Kassa sent off a good shot on target. Semail Kılıçer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Hong Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Lars Lax ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Semail Kılıçer. Semail Kılıçer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The supporters of Newells Old Boys booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Tokarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny N'Diaye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ballkam Sportsklubb made a substitution. Hasan Ali Vefalı replaced Artur Tokarczyk. In the 78th minute, Osman Ali Sağlam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Kenny N'Diaye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Saue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Blackhurst during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikki Kassa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Semail Kılıçer made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Semail Kılıçer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Lax scored 1-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Semail Kılıçer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cevahir Boz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Odin Saue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newells Old Boys.
