Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Naldo Nascimento got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Thor F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny N'Diaye. With a little luck, Thor F.C.'s Marcelinho Paulista got control of the ball when Alptuğ Behram tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vânderson Zanette hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thor F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Kenny N'Diaye scored to the left of an out of position Marcelinho Paulista, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Lokman Sağlamtürk could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Marcelinho Paulista however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Temel Ulubaş took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcelinho Paulista to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Thor F.C.'s zone, Lokman Sağlamtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Paulista came out of the goal and Lokman Sağlamtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Alptuğ Behram took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marcelinho Paulista to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny N'Diaye in the 31st minute of play forced Thor F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcelinho Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Lokman Sağlamtürk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Paulista. The goal made the score 4-0. 37 minutes into the match, Kenny N'Diaye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Paulista. Thor F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenny N'Diaye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 40th minute, Lokman Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newells Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 43 minutes into the game, Newells Old Boys's Lokman Sağlamtürk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Marcelinho Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Temel Ulubaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny N'Diaye to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Newells Old Boys's Alptuğ Behram made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Newells Old Boys's Lokman Sağlamtürk got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokman Sağlamtürk in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Thor F.C. defense, Kenny N'Diaye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Paulista. The Thor F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Paulista should have stopped the shot. Temel Ulubaş took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Paulista. Marcelinho Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Marcelinho Paulista came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Kenny N'Diaye. But to his dismay, Kenny N'Diaye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Thor F.C.'s Marcelinho Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Ali Sağlam in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Kenny N'Diaye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Marcelinho Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny N'Diaye in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Lokman Sağlamtürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Kenny N'Diaye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Paulista was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. Newells Old Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
