Delmiro Gorka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Mostafa Muhammed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Paulin came out of the goal and Mostafa Muhammed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mostafa Muhammed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mostafa Muhammed in the 34th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel-Andrés Messi got free with Delmiro Gorka in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Paulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mostafa Muhammed went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Mostafa Muhammed came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the MOEBIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mostafa Muhammed couldn't finish the play. After 49 minutes of play, MOEBIO's Mostafa Muhammed made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Paulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mostafa Muhammed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mostafa Muhammed came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the MOEBIO fans jumped to their feet. Defensores de Lombroso's Lucio Cordarrol was substituted for Federico Pirro. Federico Pirro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's Aitor Tuga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Paulin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Denis Paulin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 77 minutes, Vuk Urgovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MOEBIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vuk Urgovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Gorka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Sauveur went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Delmiro Gorka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Denis Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vuk Urgovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
