An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex de Rudder in the 21st minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Elias Strömqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Filip Bennink got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's Anders Lundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Beerthuis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Björkö BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex de Rudder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The throw-in from Anders Lundin in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Winthont FC's Cristian Norino. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobus Lubbers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Elias Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target. Björkö BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Lundin in the 55th minute. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutger Jelm in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutger Jelm in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Beerthuis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alex de Rudder came free, but Mariusz Zdeb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winthont FC's attentive Sylwester Moczkiewicz managed to snatch the ball when Bengt-Åke Fridlund made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Alex de Rudder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Zdeb was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience was convinced that Alex de Rudder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Zdeb was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Alex de Rudder made a precise shot to the right of Mariusz Zdeb. Björkö BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
