Afonsinho Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vintilă Ghițulescu's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When Sporting Burgas's Vintilă Ghițulescu in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fala Sério FC's goalie prevented a goal. Afonsinho Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Ghițulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Sporting Burgas's corner Davor Šuker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afonsinho Marques quite easily take care of the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Burgas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kauan Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Fala Sério FC's players had a chance to rest. Kauan Santos made a great header on Fala Sério FC's corner, it was just that Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán managed to reach the ball for a save. If Davor Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonsinho Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davor Šuker in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Moraes in the 17th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Pedro Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ke Xiong Chen came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Ghițulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Marques having to interfere. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Rohrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Fala Sério FC were awarded a corner. Kauan Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jerome Rohrer got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 27 minutes into the match. Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 32nd minute of play. Jerome Rohrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. When Davor Šuker came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Sporting Burgas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davor Šuker couldn't finish the play. Kauan Santos, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joel Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mac Aron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mac Aron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonsinho Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute André Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Marques made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Vintilă Ghițulescu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Silas Valadares got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vintilă Ghițulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Afonsinho Marques made a huge save. Fala Sério FC's Raimundo Pernambucano was substituted for Pedro Moraes. The supporters of Fala Sério FC booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Udrescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Raimundo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Rohrer to maneuver through the defense. Ke Xiong Chen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Fioriti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho Marques having to make a save. Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Xiong Chen in the 89th minute of play. Raimundo Pernambucano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Antonio Fioriti scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
