Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Domingos didn't get a good kick on the ball. One of Stars Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Rio Cuarto:s goal. Angelino Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hermes Arruda made a huge save. The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angelino Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hermes Arruda made a huge save. After some careless play in the Stars Academy defense, Angelino Inautzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermes Arruda. The Stars Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermes Arruda should have stopped the shot. Hermes Arruda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Inautzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 84 minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto played a much better game than Stars Academy and deserved their victory. The Stars Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
