In the 16th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Kopanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, one of Seahawks V55:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manolis Kalergis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jannes Ruttens firmly grabbed it by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Giotis Diamantopoulos threw the ball into play from the sideline. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Bozhin Bishkarov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Bryson in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seahawks V55's Charis Droumalias got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charis Droumalias was the one to do the kick off. Manolis Kalergis's late challenge caught a C. A. Pipon Pipon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manolis Kalergis helped the player get up and apologised. Nicky Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iordanis Kopanakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beto Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. If Nicky Bryson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pipon Pipon played a much better game than Seahawks V55 and deserved their victory. The Seahawks V55 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
