Elias Viviano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Nataniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel got control of the ball when Valdir Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Varela took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Nataniel. Arnulfo Nataniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Garcia. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bandelocos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Cuarto was slow to take the kick. During this time Cachiyuyo EAS's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Saturnino Porfirio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Nascimento during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudinei Nascimento hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Luiz Guilherme Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdir Garcia took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Nataniel. Arnulfo Nataniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Drago to make the kick off. Ivan Drago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Garcia in the 60th minute of play. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Cachiyuyo EAS's Ivan Drago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnulfo Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Luiz Guilherme Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Maore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Billy Dowdall hit a great ball. In the 90th play minute Gavino Maore came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilson do Vale. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
