The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Varela to maneuver through the defense. Nilson do Vale was a little too slow when Stelian Joldea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. Nilson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcin Snaza in the 13th minute. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Marcin Snaza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nilson do Vale was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Valdir Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandelocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Piwko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Marcin Snaza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Marcin Snaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Marcin Snaza could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Nilson do Vale however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Joldea in the 36th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson do Vale stood somewhat misplaced when Stelian Joldea came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcin Snaza made a kick off. Stelian Joldea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Dowdall hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes, Luís Gustavo Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the KS Piastów Sosnowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Marcin Snaza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Teixeira during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Teixeira. 71 minutes into the game, Stelian Joldea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nilson do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Boruc Magdziarz was substituted for Hieronim Winszman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 77th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bandelocos's Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st minute, Ezequiel Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Tomasz Gorski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson do Vale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
