Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Ernest Manea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iordanis Kopanakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Rizea in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Ernest Manea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Kopanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, Olimpiu Rizea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordanis Kopanakis should have stopped the shot. Iordanis Kopanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Manea, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Olimpiu Rizea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Iordanis Kopanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Rizea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Kalergis charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manolis Kalergis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Manolis Kalergis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Rizea in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordanis Kopanakis saved Seahawks V55 from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Håvard Bjørke made a precise shot to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis. Seahawks V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Manea in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Rizea in the 26th minute of play forced Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Iordanis Kopanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iordanis Kopanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Manea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Manea took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordanis Kopanakis. Iordanis Kopanakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 35 minutes Seahawks V55's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yosua Helguera who took care of the corner kick. Ernest Manea took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordanis Kopanakis. Iordanis Kopanakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 43 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Rizea notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis. Iordanis Kopanakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Iordanis Kopanakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yosua Helguera in the 53rd minute. Iordanis Kopanakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernest Manea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 55 minute of play. Iordanis Kopanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Rizea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Olimpiu Rizea made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 70th match minute, Seahawks V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Papaggelou to maneuver through the defense. FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Tudor Ştefănescu replaced Yosua Helguera. In the 71st minute, Grigoris Papaggelou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iordanis Christodoulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Iordanis Kopanakis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Martin Crușeveanu. The audience cheered loudly when Martin Crușeveanu's long shot in the 75th minute became 0-10 when the ball went to the left of and passed Iordanis Kopanakis. Isac Hojbota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolis Kalergis in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Seahawks V55 were awarded a corner. Manolis Kalergis went to the cornerflag to take it. Tudor Ştefănescu took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordanis Kopanakis. Iordanis Kopanakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 85 minutes into the game, Tudor Ştefănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Iordanis Kopanakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Maghiar came free, but Iordanis Kopanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over FC Politehnica Timisoara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seahawks V55 throughout the match.
