Olimpiu Rizea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 3rd play minutes Olimpiu Rizea shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Iordanis Kopanakis and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanos Kalfoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Yosua Helguera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Seahawks V55's zone, Olimpiu Rizea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordanis Kopanakis came out of the goal and Olimpiu Rizea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute of the match Fan Wen Nan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iordanis Kopanakis skillfully saved the ball. After 27 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Kritikos. Grigoris Papaggelou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isac Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håvard Bjørke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Kopanakis having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Ernest Manea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iordanis Kopanakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iordanis Kopanakis made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ernest Manea sent off a good shot on target. Håvard Bjørke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Iordanis Kopanakis made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Manea was the one to do the kick off. Isac Hojbota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Papaggelou in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Ernest Manea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordanis Kopanakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Håvard Bjørke came free, but Iordanis Kopanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Kritikos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Elias Abad was substituted for Fan Wen Nan. In the 69th minute, Sakis Kritikos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Crușeveanu scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iordanis Kopanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Manea, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Iordanis Kopanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Maghiar in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Maghiar in the 86th minute of play forced Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Iordanis Kopanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seahawks V55's Iordanis Kopanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Maghiar in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, Martin Crușeveanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordanis Kopanakis should have stopped the shot. Iordanis Kopanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Ştefănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
