The throw-in from Eleuterio Joachim in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Yosua Helguera. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Politehnica Timisoara from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Ernest Manea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Izotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Rencio. Fidel Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Eleuterio Joachim with Elvio Etor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Håvard Bjørke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Izotz. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Izotz should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Ernest Manea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Olimpiu Rizea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Izotz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Politehnica Timisoara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yosua Helguera in the 39th minute. Cosme Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Rizea in the 41st minute of the match. Alin Moșanu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Argenis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cachiyuyo EAS's Cosme Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Rizea in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Ernest Manea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Fan Wen Nan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. FC Politehnica Timisoara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Elias Abad was substituted for Fan Wen Nan. FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Vali Maghiar replaced Olimpiu Rizea. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tudor Ştefănescu was substituted for Yosua Helguera. 74 minutes into the game, Tudor Ştefănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. After 82 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Vali Maghiar made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Izotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Politehnica Timisoara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
