Justus Lintorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håvard Bjørke to maneuver through the defense. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Rizea in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yosua Helguera was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Politehnica Timisoara's players had a chance to rest. A sloppy throw-in by Al Whatley in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Almiro Saraiva. Jose José kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Manea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Rizea in the 25th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match FC Politehnica Timisoara got a corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yosua Helguera ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justus Lintorf in the 29th minute of play. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Al Whatley with Jose José as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nicky Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Isac Hojbota made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Håvard Bjørke came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Bryson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Hojbota having to interfere. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Manea in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Bryson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Bryson made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Bryson came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Nicky Bryson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Hojbota. Pipon Pipon's corner Cesario Irazu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isac Hojbota quite easily take care of the ball. Isac Hojbota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Valle in the 91st minute of play. Tudor Ştefănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malcolm McIntosh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Isac Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C. A. Pipon Pipon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
