The Cavallino Rampante II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Fe should have stopped the shot. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Oja in the 17th minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Conjunto Paisa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Candido Garin was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavallino Rampante II's players had a chance to rest. Matxin Maliaño might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matxin Maliaño ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernesto Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 71st minute. Cavallino Rampante II made a substitution. Fabian Jarosiewicz replaced Candido Garin. After 82 minutes Cavallino Rampante II's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
